The Friends of the Laguna Wildlife Refuge and Gladys Porter Zoo invite you to join them at the Ocelot Soiree, an intimate evening with an ocelot, on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gladys Porter Zoo. Soiree attendees will enjoy fine wine and hor d’ oevres fit for an ocelot’s pallet, world music by Adrian Foncerrada and a private show by Sihil, Cincinnati Zoo’s ocelot. As well as, an ocelot inspired auction, amazing photographs of five wild cats in Tamaulipas and ocelot update by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist.
Proceeds from the Ocelot Soiree will help the Friends of Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, raise money for education and conservation efforts to ensure the long-term survival of ocelots in the Rio Grande Valley.
