Up on a branch, we find Kirby
the Kiskadee. He's in a family of birds called flycatchers.
Smart-looking fellow, isn't he? Like other flycatchers,
he perches quietly on a branch, scanning for insects.
When he sees one, he swoops down and snatches it
up. Like many animals of the Scrub, you won't find
him north of here, and many northern bird-watchers
come down here to see him.
