Check out Teresa the Tarantula Hawk. She's a big solitary wasp. She patrols the Scrub for tarantulas. When she finds one, she stings it, paralyzing it, and drags it into her burrow. Down in the burrow, she lays an egg on it. Then she seals it up. Her egg hatches into a larval wasp that eats the tarantula. The larva eventually becomes another adult tarantula hawk!
