Winter Texan Walking Tours January – Mid-March
The Gladys Porter Zoo’s docents will offer walking tours around the Zoo grounds to Winter Texan visitors, starting the first week of January 2010. These hour-long walking tours are held every Tuesday through Thursday at 10:30 a.m  |

Winter Texan Discount Day – Wednesday, February 3rd
The Gladys Porter Zoo invites all Rio Grande Valley Winter Texans to “Winter Texan Discount Day” on Wednesday, February 3rd. Winter Texans will be able to enter the Zoo at a discounted rate with proof of out of state residence.

Animal Play Day -Sunday, March 7th
Come watch as zookeepers give our animals a special enrichment item to "play" with. See animals interact with new toys, foods, sights and smells. Prizes for correct animal behavior observations.
