Neotropical rat snake (Spilotes pullatus) - This lovely Mexican snake can be found only a few hundred miles to our south. It is sometimes called the tiger rat snake, and is one of the largest snakes in Mexico, reaching 13 feet in length. It spends much of its time in trees and relies more on its vision than most snakes do.
